Zimbabwean Serpentine Stone Kneeling Holy Family Nativity Scene

Zimbabwean artist Luke Jimu carves and polishes serpentine stone to create a beautiful, simple nativity scene. The set includes the kneeling figures of Joseph and Mary with hands folded in prayer, and baby Jesus in a small round manger.

Sold as a set of three pieces. Because this is a handcrafted item, each will vary slightly. Not intended for outdoor display.

Zimbabwean artist Luke Jimu works with springstone, which is a prized dark stone that polishes to a high shine because of its density. Most springstone is sustainably sourced and is mined on communal lands for the purpose of sculpting.
