The subtle tilt of a head and the arms wrapped round each other convey the closeness between the women. A small group of talented metal casting artisans in Burkina Faso cast their sculptures from recycled metal using a lost-wax casting process. Each sculpture bears unique characteristics that reveal the handmade nature of its creation.
