Jacaranda Ledge Lounger Giraffes

These beautiful sculptures are handcrafted in Kenya using locally sourced jacaranda wood. Available in two sizes, each giraffe is carved to be perched on a ledge, features unique coloration from jacaranda’s subtle wood grain and finished with hand painted spots.

Sold individually, available in two sizes. Small measures 2.5”L x 1.5”W x 6.5”H. Large measures 3”L x 1.75”W x 8”H. Due to the handcrafted nature of this item, some variation may occur.

About the Artisans:

We work with an amazing co-op in Kenya, the Gikomba Wood Carving Cooperative, a group of woodcarvers of all ages who work in an open-air workshop in Nairobi. This environmentally-responsible group takes care to legally procure all types of African wood used in their products, and they are skilled at using all parts of the tree in their artwork.
